Steep climb between Altdorf-Unterrieden and Offenhausen- Kucha
The route starts in the small Franconian city of Hersbruck in the Altensittenbach section of town and then travels south across the lovely landscape of the Hersbrucker Schweiz. The hills seem to form a dreamy row. Small streams accompany the path to picturesque villages that have retained much of their original character. Along the way, you can expect to discover historical reminders such as the monastery wall in Engelthal or the cloister ruins in Gnadenberg. In Oberölsbach, the bike trail joins with the Schweppermann Bike Trail and then leads into the middle of the Schwarzen Laber valley.
