Starting point at St. Lorenz Church in Berching. From there, the tour leads through the Middle Aged city centre toward the Main-Danube Canal. At the bank promenade, head left on the bike trail to the canal locks and then continue to the Plankstetten monastery. Past the Beilngries ship boarding station, the route travels via Kottingwörth and Töging to Dietfurt a. d. Altmühl: The main road through downtown travels to the end of town, then left and along the Weißen Laber to Haas. Then the tour heads to the Wissinger Laber along to Breitenbrunn and Dürn. Continue on toward Staadorf. Before reaching the village, bear to the right to take the Weißen Laber back to Berching. High points of the tour are the historic towns of Berching, Beilngries, Breitenbrunn and Dietfurt a. d. Altmühl, the idyllic valleys of the Weißen and Wissinger Laber as well as the modern structures along the Main-Danube Canal.
