The bike tour starts at the market place in the historical city centre of Lauf an der Pegnitz. It follows the signs for No. 2 eastwards and arrives in Speikern via Heuchling. Then switch to signs for No. 4 and travel a sporty loop via Enzenreuth to the Albhöhe. From the Schlossberg in Osternohe, there is a gorgeous view over the Schnaittach Valley. Then continue to Schnaittach, with a recommended side trip to the Rothenberg fortress and the Jewish Museum. The tour leads back to Speikern and follows signs for No. 2 travelling east. The idyllic trails travel through rural areas toward Reichenschwand. In Ottensoos, one of the oldest villages in Middle Franconia, there are beautiful lunch or dining options. The tour ends where it began – in Lauf.
