The round trip makes a figure 8 starting in Etterzhausen, where the Den of Thieves can be explored. The path then travels up river for 18 km along the Five River Bike Trail. In the idyllic valley Naabtal, surrounded by meadows, the route then passes through Pielenhofen with its imposing monastery and then reaches the picturesque town of Kallmünz with its romantic crooked allies and impressive fortress ruins. From there, the route returns to Krachenhausen, where you can take a break next to the river Naab. With renewed energy, you head uphill to Wolfsegg with its mysterious castle from the Middle Ages. Then continue upward to Pielenhofen and via Münchsried to Laaber. A visit to the castle ruins are worthwhile here before continuing down river on the Schwarze Laber Bike Trail with numerous mills as you travel through Deuerling to Eichhofen. In the end, the tour crosses the Schwarze Laber once again as you travel through Undorf and Nittendorf back to your starting point.
